Meet The Doctor

"My goal is to make your dental experience an outstanding one. I’ve been a dental patient myself, and I remember the anxiety and dread of a dental visit. That’s why we strive to create a different kind of dental visit: one that’s relaxed and comfortable, that you’ll actually look forward to. After all, we’re excited to see you, and we want you to be just as excited to come visit us!"

Dr. Abram Hess, DDS

Dr. Abram Hess, DDS

Dr. Abram Hess graduated from the IU School Of Dentistry in 2016 with a DDS degree. Before going into dentistry, he spent five years as a chemist in pharmaceutical research and development. He made the leap from pharmaceuticals to dentistry to “get more interaction with the patients I’m helping.”

While Dr. Hess is a lifelong Hoosier (born in Goshen; grew up in Bloomington; graduated high school in Muncie; and now lives in Indianapolis), his passion for helping people has taken him all over the United States and the world. He has participated in church-sponsored volunteer projects in Iowa, Mississippi, West Virginia, and central Africa. He has also practiced dentistry in rural Indiana, the jungles of Ecuador, an urban emergency dental clinic, and volunteer-led clinics in Indianapolis. Dr. Hess enjoys traveling the world for volunteer dentistry; ask him about where his next trip will take him!

Dr. Hess and his wife, Sara, have three daughters that they raise in a chaos of princess dress-up, mud pies, and impromptu ballet performances. They are expecting a son in October 2018.

Along with his family, Dr. Hess is very involved with his church. He has served as a deacon, and is currently an elder and Sunday School teacher.
